Oh, Takeya Fortner
The women lost the WNIT this past weekend. How sad I am that I will no longer be able to enjoy the intense reactions from Takeya Fortner and her towel...
The 55-41 loss to Illinois in the women's Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis, IN.
A slim 58-57 win over North Carolina State in the semifinals of the WNIT at Breslin.

WNIT semifinals
I got to shoot the women's basketball team at the WNIT semifinals tonight. It was one of the most fun basketball games I've shot this year, maybe because it was so intense. We were neck and neck the whole game with the winning basket scored by Allyssa DeHaan in the last minute. The game ended 58-57 MSU.
Robert is always talking about working to capture the on-court moments rather than the reactions on the bench, so I teally tried to focus on that this time around.Of course I still had to shoot benched reactions because I am in love with Takeya Fortner's.I will post those later.
I thought this was kinda cool because I it shows two completely opposite reactions.
North Carolina State sophomore guard, Sharnise Beal, reacts to a foul called on her during the semifinals of the WNIT tournament, Apr. 2, 2008 at The Breslin Center as MSU junior guard, Mia Johnson, celebrates. Johnson led the Spartans with 17 points to a 58-57 victory over the Wolfpack.
