District Finals

Watched my girls lose district finals to Portage Central at Holland today. It was expected since the team suffered a loss of 9 seniors including both goaltenders. Not to mention the injuries on the current team including 2 broken noses, a broken wrist, and a knee injury.

Liked the subtle emotions from the seniors and starters in comparison to the indifference from others. Love coach's expression but wish he was a tiny step to the left. Also wish i could get good sports shots with this camera...

Police Memorial

My mom and I walked by Rosa Parks Circle last Thursday where the annual police officer memorial service honored 27 fallen officers from Kent County and the surrounding area, as well as numerous others taken in the line of duty.

Linus

There are no kids my sisters age in the neighborhood.
So...her new best friend is the neighbor's dog, Linus.

Goofy man

I liked this guy...despite the Michigan attire. He was doing all sorts of dramatic bending over to stretch before going for a walk. Found him behind my mom's house.
