Packrats!

So today I had an assignment to shoot new technology at the planetarium. Who would've guessed it would be the best thing ever!

So my contact turned out to be a collector of wetnaps. He calls it his "moist towelette museum". There are wetnaps from all over the world in many languages including Chinese, Thai, Turkish, and Dutch. Why towelettes? "Because they're Lemony fresh!"

He also wants to start a celebrity section. It is a collection of 1: Tom and Ray of Car Talk on NPR.

The man who shares the office with him has a collection of pez dispensers including but not lim ited to The Flintstones, all the Garfield characters, The Simpsons, Sesame St., Peanuts, Pooh and friends, Looney Tunes, the Disney Princesses, Mickey and friends, the Ducktales family, the Smurfs, the Jungle Book characters, Star Wars, Spongebob, etc...

...yes...many pez dispensers...

Ok, this is really cool because it is a lens donated from a star projector from a planetarium in Battle Creek. One of this guys buddies is going to turn it into a meg camera and take pictures of the night sky. The observatory is open this weekend and he will be there. Needless to say, I'm going to find him and try to get in on this.

This is like the size of my head...

Last but not least...I just can't resist. I was checking my white balance and caught Jeff. I like it.
